I met Rawl way back when he was a youngster at Peanut Records. I thought I was a big shot because I worked there. One day he and his mom stopped by the store and he picked up one of my flyers and Steve (mr.peanut) told him I drew it. He asked me to sign it. It was the first thing I ever signed for someone and I was humbled. Years passed and our paths met again at some shows and through friends and we even became business partners in a way with his silkscreen business he and Kevin run.

He plays drums for local legend Mike Watt as his backing band (along with the mighty Tom Watson on guitar) as the Missingmen. The Missingmen have also backed Lou Barlow a few times. He knows the best restaurants in town and is one of the most kind, gentle, patient and caring people I have ever met. I am Proud to be his friend.
